Live Streaming of the Republic Day Parade & test transmission of the DD India on Hotbird 13 B

Doodrashan will be live-streaming the Republic Day Parade on 26th January 2015  from 09:00 AM (IST) onwards till the end of the ceremony.

The ceremony will be live-streamed on YouTube channel of Doordarshan i.e. www.youtube.com/DoordarshanNational

Prasar Bharati has entered into an agreement with Deutsche Welle (German Public Service Broadcaster) for carriage of DD-India Channel on Hotbird-13B Satellite having footprints in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. The above arrangement will provide DD-India Channel access and reach to more than 120 million international audiences in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.


The test transmission of the DD India on Hotbird 13 B is scheduled to commence from 25th January, 2015. DD India will also carry a live transmission of  26th January's Republic Day Parade from 9 A.M to 12.10 P.M and Beating the Retreat Ceremony scheduled to be held on 29th January, 2015.  The recordings of the Republic Day Parade will repeat telecast at 1 P.M. (IST) to enable viewers of Europe and Africa to watch at their convenient time as 9 A.M. will be early morning in most of the European and African countries.


The channel is available in Free-to-Air (FTA) mode and its downlink parameters are detailed below:
