Invitation for Expression of Interest (structural-evaluation and residual life of a built-up property)

The purpose of this invitation for Expression of Interest (EoI) is to identify prospective professionals / consultants / specialized agencies that can carry out structural-evaluation and residual life of a built-up property as part of due-diligence before a possible purchase / acquisition of property by the Embassy of India, Rome.

 

The property to be evaluated, located in the centre of Rome, has a built-up area of approximately 5500 square metres and is a five-storey structure with a basement. The study/report may assess the structural soundness of the property and its residual life, based on various factors such as the year of construction/renovation, foundation, materials used for construction, internal load bearing system, architectural design, compliance with engineering / scientific norms, current codes, provisions and laws, presence of cracks, fissures or dislocations in the land or structure, and any other factor that may be taken into consideration as per local practices.   

 

          An Expression of Interest may be sent by qualified and established entities/individuals alongwith their complete profile and details of past experience in similar work. On receipt of Expressions of Interest, the Embassy of India will issue Terms of Reference and Request for Proposal. The formal proposals may then be submitted by the shortlisted consultants in ‘Two Bid’ system with technical and financial bids.

 

The selected consultant shall be completely responsible for the execution of the project as a single point solution provider.
