The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India with the support of the Government of Manipur and Pawan Hans Ltd. is organizing the 5th Edition of Helicopter & Small Aircraft Summit on Monday, 15th May 2023 at Hotel Classic Grande, Imphal, Manipur.
2. 5th Edition of the Helicopter & Small Aircraft Summit presents a valuable opportunity to foster relationships, exchange knowledge, and collaborate towards building a prosperous future for the Indian Helicopter & Small Aircraft Industry.
3. The Summit aims at channelizing the growth of helicopter and Small Aircraft industry in India. This forum will serve as a platform to promote the growth of the aviation industry with several key objectives. These include promoting the Small aircraft scheme under UDAN to stimulate regional air connectivity, creating a world-class helicopter manufacturing ecosystem in India, and promoting tourism in the north-eastern states. The summit also seeks to encourage the operation of small aircraft with a seat capacity of 20 seats or below, providing better accessibility to remote locations. Other goals include identifying leasing models and promoting fractional ownership, establishing Helicopter Pilot Training Institutes, and encouraging Helicopter-based emergency medical services (HEMS) to improve emergency response in the country.
