Press Release - Meeting of Ambassador of India to Italy with Hon'ble Vincenzo De Luca, President of Campania Region

An official meeting was held on 22.04.2021 at the massive Santa Lucia building in Naples between H.E. Dr Neena Malhotra, Ambassador of India to Italy and Hon'ble Vincenzo De Luca, President of Campania Region.

During the friendly and fruitful meeting, a series of cooperation projects in various cultural, economic and development fields were discussed. In particular, President De Luca assured his full and personal cooperation in view of the forthcoming celebrations of the International Day of Yoga.

A fruitful discussion was also held about investment opportunities, improvements of commercial routes and other possibilities of exchanges and bilateral trade & economic collaboration in the presence of the President of the Port Network Authorities (PSA) of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea, Mr Andrea Annunziata.

The Ambassador Dr Neena Malhotra, who shared her deep appreciation for the warm welcome received and the friendly collaboration offered to further enhance the cooperation, reciprocal knowledge and exchanges between the Campania Region and India. As Campania is, among the southern Italian regions, the first as per number of Indian resident Citizens, Amb. Malhotra thanked the President, as representative of his people, for the inclusiveness and lively environment offered to many of her countrymen residing in the Region.
